President Jonathan Don Appoint Oyenka Owenu As Director National Centre for Women Development

President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan don approved the appointment of a legendary singer, Onyeka Onwenu, as the Executive Director/Chief Executive Officer of the National Centre for Women Development, NCWD, Abuja.

Oyenka was borne on May 17, 1961. Onyeka Onwenu na Ogbonge Nigerian singer, actress and politician. In 2006, she won the African Movie Academy Award for Best Actress in a supporting role.

before now na she be the chairperson of the Imo State Council for Arts.

She is expected to assume duties immediately.
